I am constantly being told how lucky I am that I travel so much  and live the life I live. Of course I am lucky but it is not only about luck but more about a choice. Jeff Bezos of Amazon said we are what we choose and this rings true for all.

Friends are always saying to me oh I wish I could do what you are doing- and I say yes you can but it’s all about a choice. For example if you choose not to drink every weekend at the local bar and spent endless amounts of money on things you really don’t need, you can save enough to do travel just like me or do whatever it is you want to do. This is of course an example. It just boils down to what you are willing to give up, to experience an unconventional and inspiration- filled life that you have created with your own choices.

Choose to do what is it you want to do instead of doing things because of expectations/obligations from society and culture and other people.  Make your own choices and learn from them. Sometimes they are easy choices and sometimes they are hard. But they are yours ,all yours. It is empowering feeling to be in control of things that are happening in ones life because of the choices we have made for ourselves and not because of choices made by someone else.
We have this one amazing life and we must take it in our hands and make the most of this existence.
